French toast to the Easter brunch

French Toast - also known in German -speaking Switzerland under the name "Fotzel cuts" - is a breakfast dish that is made with bread or braid from the previous day. The bread slices are soaked in a milk-egg mixture and then fried until golden brown. Served with maple syrup, cinnamon and sugar, fresh berries or fruit compote becomes a wonderful feel -good dish.
The SIROCCO French toast recipe gets a fresh citrus note by adding our organic club “Verbena” with lemon verbs from Morocco. This gives your guests enjoyable, spring -like moments!
