Precious Arabica specialties

100% Arabica
Arabica – the name alone holds the tantalizing promise of 1001 delights. It is the finer and higher-quality variety of the two types of coffee most widely cultivated today. There are over 150 different varieties of Arabica. They can most readily be compared with different grape varietals.
Coffee types classified by other connoisseurs and coffee lovers as Grand Cru or specialty coffees are, for us, quite simply standard. Because for Sirocco coffee specialties, we firmly believe that only Arabica green coffee offers the desired quality, even if roasting the beans is much more difficult and challenging.
We consciously avoid Robusta beans, which are significantly lower priced, and opt for the wonderful aromas found in Arabica beans, including chocolate, ripe fruit and blackcurrant as well as floral notes in their purest form. As in the case of top-quality grapes that are cultivated individually and finally come together in the assemblage, we roast different Arabica varietals. With the exception of our "Single Origins", we then carefully match and mix them to create our famous and exquisite coffee blends.
Pleasure and enjoyment are our first priority. We have no interest in making higher profits through the use of cheaper and substandard raw materials.
Specialties

Delicious, rare specialty coffees
For years now, the demand for the specialty coffees as we roast them has by far outstripped supply. Only thanks to direct, long-standing partnerships with the growers in the producing countries and the promotion of fair prices and trading practices are we able to procure the best and most exquisite green coffees, and to import and roast them for our customers.
In order to cultivate these contacts, many of which have over the years developed into friendships, we regularly travel to the producing countries to view the plantations with growers and inform them of our quality standards. It also gives us the opportunity to taste new harvests and to define taste profiles accordingly.
We are familiar with the production process and oversee the harvest on the spot in the coffee plantations. We watch on as the green coffee is processed and transported. Only in this way can we guarantee the legendary quality of our Sirocco coffee from tree to cup.
The high cost of investment in a functioning infrastructure in village communities and in projects ranging from the social and educational all the way to ecological sewage treatment together with binding quality standards is ultimately a guarantee for the freshly roasted, top- coffee quality we aim to offer customers daily.
