Our production
We have traditionally managed the entire value chain of coffee production ourselves, from selecting the green beans to roasting and, ultimately, to delivering our coffees: The process begins with purchasing our specialty coffees directly from the coffee plantations – at fair trade conditions, of course – and importing them ourselves.
Once received at our Swiss facility in Schmerikon, the precious beans are gently roasted utilizing our Alpine-Roast®process. This results in an incomparably mellow and low-acid coffee with delectable full body aroma.

Ethical and ecological sustainability has always been a core tenet in our business practices. Our endeavor to acquire the best green coffees is underpinned by long-standing partnerships with growers in the producing countries and the adherence to fair trade policy.
We conscientiously maintain our trading relationships through regular communication with our partners and onsite visits. We understand the process of cultivation, stay updated on the harvest status at the coffee plantations, and also monitor green coffee processing and shipping. This direct trade approach is our guarantee for ensuring the premium quality of Sirocco coffee – from the tree to the cup.
The considerable effort invested in providing viable infrastructure in the village communities – from numerous social and educational projects to ecological wastewater management – and binding quality standards are ultimately our assurance for the freshly roasted, premium quality coffee we aim to offer every day.
