NEW: Rare tea variety Genmaicha

Until the Limited Edition, we permanently take this delicacy into our range. The name Genmaicha is made up of "Genmai“, which means roasted rice, and "Cha" and "tea" together. As is sometimes the case with the development of new products, this green tea originated in a mishap. According to legend, some rice grains were said to have been co -met with several centuries ago in Japan in the preparation of a green tea. Surprisingly, this creation had a very pleasant taste and with that the Genmaicha was born.
The noble Genmaicha from Sirocco comes from Japan, from the Shizuoka Prefecture on the main island of Honshå «. The region is the center of the Japanese tea trade. The special soil nature, coupled with a special climate, distinguishes this region and make the tea plants thrive extremely well.

The basis for our Genmaicha forms a particularly high -quality, small -leaved green tea. Simple, large-leaved bancha qualities are usually used for Genmaicha. The rice rice is roasted with the greatest care, so that no rice grain pops up. This care is noticeable in the cup, it ensures a bright green cup of cups and highly aromatic notes. On the palate, the opposite aromas of fresh green tea and the sweet-nutty notes of the roasted rice combine to be a successful combination.
