We believe coffee quality begins well before the cup: in the selection of base ingredients, the origin of every bean, and how meticulously they are processed and packaged. Our roasting plant in Schmerikon on upper Lake Zurich has been continually implementing cutting-edge methods for decades – harnessing advanced technology and the same painstaking care that has defined our business since 1908.

An interesting fact: Sirocco roasts only Arabica beans – the finer and more aromatic of the two coffee varieties that dominate the market today. We deliberately refrain from using less expensive Robusta beans, favoring the quality and finesse of Arabica beans. Their elegant notes range from chocolate to ripe fruit and floral notes. We roast beans from each origin separately to preserve their character before creating balanced blends.

It goes with saying that genuine coffee beans provide the most authentic way to enjoy coffee. Whole beans represent tradition, dedication, and produce a rich, natural flavor. They’re great for those who have their individual preferences when it comes to grinding and brewing.

Whether espresso, crema, or decaf: all Sirocco beans are roasted in small batches of the same single-origin coffee, blended, immediately packed, and sent to our customers freshly roasted.

Ground coffee is the preferred choice of those connoisseurs who fully appreciate a variety of flavors without any tedious preparation. It means convenience, practicality, and reliability. Incidentally, Sirocco ground coffee blends are available in our ever-popular 250 g pouches and classic tins.
