Summer, sun - «Lemon Beach Iced Tea»

Who doesn't know them, the longing for the beach, sea and sun? Feel the pleasant breeze that the saltwater beads dried on the skin and grabs through the hair, watch the sand that melt between the toes or watch the carefree hustle and bustle on the beach - whether in the Algarve, on Sardinia or an idyllic Greek island, this year the anticipation is particularly large.
Such holiday feelings can already be experienced now and at home thanks to our organic fruit emission Lemon Beach, served ice-cold. A healthy and low-calorie alternative to the summer mocktails: Lemon Beach with white hibiscus and Moroccan mint, rounded by juicy sweet orange and lemon notes. Pure refreshment on a hot summer day. Thanks to ginger syrup and decorative mint leaves and limes, the refreshing iced tea becomes an ice -cold eye -catcher.
LEMON BEACH ICED TEA
Makes about 3.3 dl ginger syrup and about 5 dl tea.
Preparation time approx. 15 minutes

sugar |

INGREDIENTS ICED TEA: |
|
|
2,5 dl |
boiling water |
|
1 |
tea bag of Sirocco Lemon Beach |
|
½ |
lime |
|
200 g |
ice cubes |
|
2 |
peppermint sprigs |
PREPERATION:
To make the syrup, slice ginger finely, bring to a boil with the water and sugar. Simmer for about 5 min. Pour the syrup through a sieve into a bottle. Let cool.
For the iced tea, place Lemon Beach tea sachet in the small pitcher. Pour in hot water. Let tea steep for 5 – 7 min.
Remove tea sachet.
Place ice cubes in the large pitcher. Pour tea over them. Cut lime into slices and add with peppermint sprigs. Sweeten with about ½ dl ginger syrup, stir, and enjoy.
Exklusiver Sirocco-Tipp:
Refrigerate remaining ginger syrup until further use.
