Verbena tea is a traditional favorite with women in France. It has an antispasmodic and calming effect and a beguiling, lemony scent.

The variety is now becoming increasingly popular elsewhere and enjoyed by many tea-drinkers on a daily basis. The plant belongs to the verbena family (Verbenaceae). The tapered leaves are dried and cut. The fragrant verbena contains an essential oil that is characterised by a wonderful lemony scent. Although the plant is not hardy, it is also grown in Europe. However, we have selected the premium variety from organic cultivation in Morocco, where the lemon aroma is particularly prominent.
